On November 28th, four of our PhD students graduated from the doctoral program „Ethics and Responsible Leadership in Business“. This weeks marks the transition of the program to our new „Doctoral Academy: Business and Leadership Ethics“
On November 28th, we celebrated the achievements of Usochi Ilozumba, Georg Röder, Stephan Gebauer and Cassandra Grützner by bidding them farewell from the PhD program. They are now in their final stages of finishing their dissertation. Their supervising professors also joined the celebration, proudly recognizing and honoring the graduates’ hard work and dedication throughout their academic journeys.
The ceremony was framed by a keynote speech of Dr. Alexander Noßmann, Managing Director and Partner of Boston Consulting Group: “Ethics in Management Consulting: Vital Compass or Elusive Ideal?” and a panel discussion “Quo vadis (Business) Ethics?” with Prof. Ingo Pies (The Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg) and Prof. Andreas Suchanek (HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management), moderated by Manon Filler, one of our PhD students.
This celebration also marked a significant moment for the program itself, which has successfully run for 10 years and will now transition into an exciting new phase with the launch of the new Doctoral Academy „Business and Leadership Ethics“ whose first module took place this week.
