International Cooperation
By means of our specific approach to order- and leadership responsibility we support international cooperations and projects. Today, there are still 3 billion people living in poverty. They have little chance of taking part in the global economic processes. At the same time, wealthy states find it increasingly difficult to provide funding for development assistance programs. This is the backdrop against which we must model innovative processes of cooperation for the benefit of the poor. This means developing new ideas, gaining new partners and establishing innovative alliances.
To accomplish this the Wittenberg Center is involved in a network of partners from theory and practice. Our common aim is to foster moral behavior and intercultural understanding among decisions makers by focusing on the basics of ethics with respect to their practicability. It is clear that global challenges can only be tackled collectively. Mutual trust is a condition for cooperation.
