Seminars

In our seminars we offer an introduction to the principles of global ethics and value-oriented management to young and executive managers. We provide knowledge and tools which help to identify and analyze ethical challenges occurring in their business surroundings (reflective competences) to develop solutions based on ethical principles (constructive competences) and to find adequate ways to communicate these approaches (communication competences). The seminars focus on the following topics:

  • the basics of ethics
  • the moral quality of market economy
  • corporations and their responsibilities
  • the management of values
  • applied ethics in management practice

By means of giving theoretical input and practice examples we identify the basics and principles of responsible management and it’s long term advantages. In addition we look at probable obstacles occurring in order to develop solutions in management practice. Participants also deal with external moral claims of a justified as well as  unjustified character.

In Young Leaders Seminars and Summer Schools we prepare prospective decision makers for ethical challenges in a global perspective. Our aim is to foster their social competences and to help them become responsible managers while they are still being in training for their future profession.
