Our Approach

Ethics is principally concerned with the question of how individuals should act when faced with decisions. Be it manager, politician, journalist or civil citizen all of us have to continuously make decisions which usually have a moral side and implication. These decisions are informed by a multitude of values, principles and interests of different stakeholders, that cannot be harmonized easily. When put into practice, they often collide thus causing conflicts.
The Wittenberg Center is dealing with such social conflicts by a specific ethical approach. The objective is find solutions that are based on ethical principles of a practicable nature so that individuals, companies and organizations can apply them on a day to day basis.
