Chemical Dialogue   

With the support of the Wittenberg Center, the German Federation of Chemical Employers’ Associations (BAVC) and the German Mining, Chemical and Energy Industries Union (IG BCE) started the „Wittenberg Process of the Social Partners in the Chemical Industry” in 2007 in order to develop common yardsticks for responsible action in the Social Market Economy. In several workshops, guidelines were drawn up on five central sociopolitical issues to which the cooperation of employers and employees in the chemical industry should be oriented in future. With this project, the social partners want to strengthen the foundations of their cooperation and set a visible example for the Social Market Economy. the specific German way of integrating economic and social issues.
