Academia   

Promoting academia and research in the fields of economic ethics, business ethics as well as sustainability remains an important objective of the Wittenberg Center for Global Ethics. The Center works in this direction in cooperation with various universities and scientific institutes.
Endowment Professorship
Companies and foundations establish and fund endowed professorships in cooperation with the German Stifterverband. So far the Wittenberg Center for Global Ethics has initiated the following University Chairs addressing issues of applied ethics.

• Professorship for Sustainability and Global Ethics at the HHL - Leipzig Graduate School of Management
• Chair for Economic Ethics at Martin-Luther-University of Halle-Wittenberg
• Endowed Chair for Energy Management and Sustainability at University of Leipzig
Conferences
Scientific seminars, colloquiums and symposiums are being organised in the Wittenberg Center. Various disciplines and scientific approaches have a sound exchange on issues of economics and ethics, market economy and moral, social responsibility and sustainability.
Publications
Themes in scientific studies and discussion papers with applied ethics such as corporate social responsibility, corporate citizenship and corruption prevention are published. These could be accessed through the menu link “Publication”.
