From April 28th till 30th 2005 the WCGE organised a Young-Leaders-Seminar on the theme: „Global Public Goods – New Approaches in Development Cooperation“. This Workshop was supported by the ZEIT-Stiftung Ebelin and Gerd Bucerius. This seminar dealt with the allocation of new global public goods through development cooperation. Participants were provided with theoretical instruments to enable them reconstruct the various problems plaguing development cooperation in order fort hem to generate possible solutions. The role of companies as Corporate Citizens and agents of development as well as that of non- governmental organisations in the issue of development cooperation was held in focus.
